Brasserie Du Vin was conceived as a cafe found in rural towns in the South of France. A rustic unpretentious place where people gather to savor wines, eat hearty meals and engage in conversation or read the paper. Our wine selection embodied not only excellent vintages but also simple "vin de table" wines.

The food comprises of a variety of small plates offering great bread, "Pomme Frites", cheeses, mussels, olives and more to be shared with one another.

Lunch served Monday - Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Dinner served Monday - Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to Late

Born and raised in Roma, Italy, Silvana Alfonso grew up amid a family of artists. In particular, she was greatly influenced by her father, a professional sax and clarinet musician.

During the 80's, Silvana got exposed to the first wave of house music and cooperate with the first house dj's in Roma. Soon after, she moved to L.A., where she became exposed to Funk and Hip Hop.

Meanwhile, she was dancing professionally Jazz Hip Hop and Ballet.

While living in L.A., she became an Art Director and Production Designer in the Hollywood film and music video industry.

After 6 years in California, she moved to New York City.

While she continued her studies in ballet and jazz dance, Silvana felt the need to work more with music-hands on! In Brooklyn, Silvana started intertwining her vast influences of house, jazz, funk and other worldly sounds.
