ABOUT KITO KIRTLEY
Kito is a cross-disciplinary visual artist and live performance producer inspired by New York City's underground dance music culture and the environments that incubate them. She composes abstract "cityscapes" and personify them in two and three-dimensional form using dancers, models, canvas, still and moving images. While most of her paintings portray urban cityscapes, some works examine manifestations of the culture and represent sound or movement. Specifically, she employs visual arts materials to illustrate the sound of music and the emotional experience of dancing. The paintings represent the city's architectural environment, and the kinetic energy of the city. The dancers/ models and djs represent that kinetic energy coming alive. The music is crucial as it is the catalyst used to create the painting and prompts the movement of the peoples bodies.

ABOUT MALIA HARUNAGA
From as far back as Malia can recall, she has been drawn to art. Starting with crayons and Cray-Pas, to chalk and graphite, she proceeded to photography and was soon inseparable with her camera. Her high school black and white film photography class opened her eyes to being in the dark and taught her to love the dark room. She continued drawing but gravitated to making photographs as her main desire. Malia received Art Awards for her last two years at Punahou and after graduating was still hungry to continue her passion. Making photographs for her is like creating glimpses of memory suspended in time and breath. These fragments of memory can be more than real, but they can also be far from the truth and that is what fascinates her. Capturing the things unseen and creating new and unreal worlds through chiaroscuro, rhythm and texture, Malia tries to exude the way she sees life through the lens of perception. She has participated in the Punahou alumni art show consecutively and currently has pieces displayed at corporate environments such as the Turtle Bay Resorts and Orthopedic Associates.

ABOUT AJA JACOBSEN
Aja was born in Northern California and raised in Santa Barbara surrounded by a family and community of artists. So artwork and the creative process have always been present in his life and he has been actively immersing himself in the arts for as long as he can remember. After graduating from the Visual Arts and Design Academy of Santa Barbara, Aja has continued to pursue his passions both personally and academically. He is now a senior in the visual arts program at University of Hawaii and is focusing in print making. This body of work represents the direction he is moving in for the last few years. Aja finds that nature is the greatest teacher and source of inspiration in hislife and, whether conciously or not, has recently been trying to achieve a closer connection with the natural world through his artwork. In Aja's mind, the percienved gap between people and nature is one of the major problems in the world today. His work represents an attempt to reconcile and reunite our human existence with the natural world and in so doing guide the viewer to a new level of appreciation for the incredible world around us.

About Chanel Tanaka
Hawaii born artist Chanel Tanaka first encountered painting and drawing at a very young age. A hobby quickly turned into a passion, which transformed into a life changing career. Her main focus is on acrylic paintings with expanding interests into mixed media, including metallic paints. The artwork features a contemporary Asian silohuette style. Inspired by traditional Japanese Geisha and Samurai, her paintings embody Japanese, lifestyle, culture and architecture.
Silhouette - A silhouette is the image of a person, an object or scene consisting of the outline and a featureless interior, with the silhouetted object usually being black. Traditionally, a silhouette is a form of artwork, the term originating in the 18th century and applied to portraits or other pictorial representations cut from thin black card.[1] Silhouette images may be created in any artistic media, but the tradition of cutting portraits from black card has continued into the 21st century.
From its original graphic meaning, the term "silhouette" has been extended to describe the sight or representation of a person, object or scene that is backlit, and appears dark against a lighter background. Anything that appears this way, for example, a figure standing backlit in a doorway, may be described as "in silhouette".
Chanel currently co-created the Geisha: Women of Art Show that incorporates art, fashion, dance, and body-painting to create an interactive sensual feast.
