Just a quick note to let you know most Downtown-Chinatown shops, galleries, restaurants, clubs and pubs will be open this First Friday, July 4. And in addition to the usual dining and entertainment offerings, the first-ever First Friday BBQ Challenge takes place, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Not to be missed... The grilling skills of Downbeat Diner, Manifest, The Fix, Rakuen, Bar 35 and Brasserie Du Vin. Stations will be set up along the block between Pauahi Street and Chaplain Lane (adjacent to Louis Pohl Gallery and eleven44).
