Oh Sweet Goodness! an ice cream party presented by 11 on display March 3rd through 28th

Oh Sweet Goodness! is a collection of works by 11 artists: Kenny Chen, Daniel Harano, Daven Hee, Ashley Huang, Kelsey Hughes, Calvin Lac, Emily Lee, Lisa Shiroma, Lauren Trangmar, Jon Vongvichai and Shannon Web.

This exhibit examines the phenomenon of Frozen Cow as a delectable interpretation of the desire to possess the temporary.

Through personal musings of memories and process, the artists offer representations of dreams and nonsense that resonate with the child in each of us and challenge us to question our lactose intolerance.

The mixed media collectables embody idiosyncratic views of living in the present, yet the familiar imagery allows for a connection between melted, ironies of cuteness, and sprinkles.

Oh Sweet Goodness! is on display from March 3rd through March 28th.

Opening reception on First Friday, March 6, from 5pm-8pm

On First Friday, March 6, The ARTS at Marks Garage gallery will be transformed into an ice cream parlor. Come and meet all 11 artists and take photos with them as they serve you ice-cream and art!
