Downbeat and 86 Productions presents First Fridays at Downbeat Lounge with eclectic Soul group One World Tribe. Nationally acclaimed reggae-soul artist, Mike Love plays live on stage in Downbeat Lounge in anticipation for his upcoming EP and tour. Come experience the voice and rhythm that Jack Johnson declared "one of the most talented musicians I've ever played with." Also performing, human beatbox Jason Tom

Exhibit / Entertainment - Hawaii State Art Museum First Friday: DAYTON WATANABE & NEW EXHIBIT: ACCESSION
First Friday will feature live music by slack key guitarist Dayton Watanabe in the Sculpture Lobby (second floor, between the museum galleries); seating will be provided. Museum galleries will be open (entry and admission are always free), including the newest exhibit, Accession, featuring recent acquisitions by the Art in Public Places Collection of the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the "I Love Art" hands-on activity room for kids.
