AUGUST 2021: First Friday
“Being in Time”, our exhibit for the month of August with pieces from 8 different artists who explore the duality of existing and being present. The opening reception of this show is on first Friday, August 6th from 5-8 pm. There will also be a live model painting for the event, come for the art and the experience

Aloha! Come one, come all to the Arts at Marks Garage Gallery show, “Being in Time”! This show features local artist who have been creating art in Honolulu for years! It is a vibrant collection of art pieces which feature different mediums, techniques and styles of painting. All showcasing the human experience and the energy that fuels it. Such pieces depict femininity, aging, the raw human form and even scenes of our own Honolulu, the place we call home. From mosaics to pop art, Being in Time is a lively culmination of work that celebrates life as well as the gallery in which it is featured. Come on down and support some of your local artists in your favorite local gallery. Make sure you’re on time for Being in Time, only at the Arts at Marks Garage, August 2021. See you soon.

    The ARTS at Marks Garage is a community arts center with a 1,000 sq. ft. gallery, a 1,000 sq. ft. theater, and a 1,000 sq. ft. office space founded in 2001. Marks is home to 13 performing and visual arts businesses including Youth Speaks Hawaii and Hawaii Shakespeare Festival. 45,000 visitors attend 13 exhibits and 150 performances each year.
