Class Size: Limited to 15 spaces

Cost: $200 (Full Session: 13 classes) or $20 for each individual class.

This class is open to all drawing mediums and skill levels. Explore the dynamic techniques of sketchbook art through the use of the Lecoq de Boisbaudran's drawing method, which emphasizes visual memory exercises and speed. In this rigorous drawing class, learn how to quickly capture the subject u!ing color washes and inking techniques. Learn accurate scaling, atmospheric perspective and design techniques that will improve your ability to sketch. Take this unique adventure as we visit and sketch our surroundings within the beautiful grounds of Chinatown, visiting parks, farmer markets, Cultural landmarks and a large array of characters to draw from. Join our group as we embark on what will be a sojourn of inspiration!

REQUIRED SUPPLIES

Sketchbooks, Penware, Watercolor Sets

PENTALIC (inexpensive, fun colors)

The paper on most of these brands are strong enough to hold water media, and their opaque-properties are good with three price ranges expensive at top and cheaper at the bottom. Remember to have sketchbook that is comfortable in your hand that you can treat roughly (no spiral bounding) and you can conceal easily.
