  • Chinatown Improvement District- Chinatown Photo Contest Results!


Aloha Friends,

Preliminary results for the Chinatown Photo Contest are posted on our website: cidchinatownhawaii.org.

Online voting is open for Best in Show and People's Choice Awards. You can vote online either at our facebook page, website, or on instagram (instagram.com/cidchinatown/). Voting will close on midnight, April 30th.

Thanks to everyone who participated both in Hawaii and abroad. We hope you enjoyed exploring the area and capturing its special qualities. Also a special thank you to our judges from the Honolulu Museum of Art and Civilbeat. All photos will be shown and prizes distributed at a photo show at our Lei Day in Chinatown celebration on May 1st @ 25 N Hotel Street, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m (this is a free event). We hope you will join us! Several photos will be available for viewing at various businesses and galleries in the district.

An Art & Treasures Fair will also be held at 25 N. Hotel on May 1st during the day from 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
