Chinatown Upstairs - Architectural History, Current Trends & Tastings
We hope you will join us for an exploration of five upper stories in the Chinatown District Historic District. The tour will include one restaurant, two private loft spaces, and two co-operative office spaces. At each location, the past history of the building will be given along with the current owner or business owner's insights into renovation of the building and space. Small tasting plates will be provided at four of the locations by: Chris Kajioka, Epic Restaurant, Fete, and Tchin Tchin. A cash bar will be available at two of the locations. Please see the flyer below for more details and how to sign up for this event. Space is limited to 80 guests. There are some volunteer opportunities available to be a docent for this tour. Contact Lee at either this email or at 589-9927 if you are interested in volunteering.
Please be advised that this is a walking and climbing tour - there are no elevators in these historic buildings. This event is co-sponsored by the Chinatown Improvement District and Historic Hawaii Foundation.
