55th Annual Hawaiʻi Regional Scholastic Art Awards (2018)
Exhibit Dates: February 16 -- April 13, 2018

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation's largest, longest-running, most prestigious visual and literary arts program recognizing accomplishments of students in grades 7 -- 12. It is a symbol of excellence that can bolster resumes, college applications and scholarship applications. All National Award recipients earn a place on the National Recipient list. Selected works will be featured in the National Catalog and The Best Teen Writing anthology. Works receiving Gold Key awards move on to the national level judging. The Hawaii Regional Scholastic Student Art Awards and Exhibit are presented by the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, Hawai‘i State Department of Education, and the Hawai‘i Association of Independent Schools.

ABOUT THE HAWAII STATE MUSEUM
The Hawai'i State Art Museum is located in No. 1 Capitol Distric Building at 250 South Hotel Street. The building is situated in the historic Hawaii Capital Cultural District, across from 'Iolani Palace and the State Capitol.
