IONA Contemporary Dance Theatre is one of the great friends of the Forgiveness Project, since our beginning 15 years ago.

So many times, the artistry and grace of IONA has uplifted a Forgiveness occasion. We are always grateful for their mastery of motion, color, sound and wisdom, expressed in the universal language of dance.

Now, we have a chance to savor the wizardry of Artistic Director Cheryl Flaharty, as she brings her largest company of dancers ever to historic stage of the Hawai'i Theatre, in downtown Honolulu.

Dominion breaks the species barrier with art. No longer confined to human stories alone, IONA walks with the elephants, the ravens, the whales and the cats to find essential beauty.

Few other artists have dared this unique ground, but Hawai'is own original dance theatre company, thrilling audiences for more than 25 years, meets the challenge.

Cheryl puts her heart, soul and genius into every detail, and Dominion serves the community by raising awareness of the miracle of intelligent life on our planet.
