November has started off spectacularly! Did you miss all Octobers fun?
We threw a Mad Hatters Tea Party with tea and treats from Tea at 1024 , music by YOZA, a fabulous silent auction and ‘Rosé all day' by Byington. Mad fun was had by all!
We danced and cheered during the Rocky Horror Picture Show. With all the props and exciting vibe- is a can’t miss! From the outfits to the feathers to the toast to the sing-along guaranteed a good time for all.
We oohed and ahhed at Hallowbaloo! Bringing out the creativity in the neighborhood with some simple and some very elaborate costumes. Family fun kicked off the event with Keiki and strollers all decked out in Hallowbaloo wear. After the sun went down the
costumes just kept getting better. Leading to the stages with the costume contest and live music including Tavana, Son Caribe and DJ ANit.
We were wowed be the unique teachings of director Mark W. Travis. Known as the ‘directors director’ - Mark shared his tools and techniques on directing and writing.
We are working hard on new projects and have had great success with fundraising. Dont miss out Please come out enjoy all The ARTS has to offer. MAHALO!
Aloha,
Kim Taylor Reece

The ARTS at Marks Garage CANNOT survive without your help.
The ideal financial income breakdown for a nonprofit arts organization is 30% earned income, 30% donations, 30% grants and sponsorships. We're currently rebuilding identity and confidence in our community while paying off long-held debt. We're doing that on almost 100% earned income, but we can't continue to survive this way.
Our newest board member, photographer Kim Taylor Reece, is taking photos of supporters of The ARTS. If you sign up now, you can get your photo taken by this legendary local artist—and help to ensure that Chinatown remains a haven for artists and those who love and appreciate them!
