City offers online and off-site options

HONOLULU -- The city is urging O‘ahu residents to take advantage of its online and off-site options for government services.

A list of services for residents, who want to follow the Centers for Disease Control's recommendations on social distancing, can be viewed at honolulu.gov/csd.

"Given the recent health concerns and the growing desire to remove ourselves from public places, it's a good time to re-emphasize government service options that are available now," said Sheri Kajiwara, director of the city's Department of Customer Services.

Among the city's online and off-site services that offer shorter turnaround times than mail or in-person visits are:

• Duplicate driver license
• Online motor vehicle registration renewal
• Self-service kiosks
• AlohaQ for driver license and ID renewal appointments
• Board of Water Supply payments
• Real property tax payments
