About this event
We find ourselves again. The founders of oNG kING Arts Center, Jonathan Heraux and See, join the Sakura Arts Collective at the birth of expressive creation: 184 N.King St. Chinatown. Let us remember our freedom of expression, the wholeness of community, and the truth of collaboration. We spark this night to ignite meaningful art expereinces that bring us closer to each other and the Aina.
This is a combination of worlds.
We begin with the herbs: a flight of ceremonies. 5 different herbal experiences.
From swallowing big gulps of deep potent cacao, to passing the Awa Bowl, to anointing ourselves with sacred essential oils. It's about dropping in and connecting to plant medicine. Then we get down. The hypnotic sitar, soul- thumping drums, and electric bass bring our expressive capacities into motion.
Part One of the Night 8:30 pm - 10 pm is led by See, Cristian Ellauri, the Dionysian Liberator is the co-founder of oNG kING Arts Center, a Master of Theatre.
See has a shamanistic understanding of plant medicine and combines this with his theatrical prowess to create a space for transformation and connection.
Part Two 10 - 11:30 pm is led by Jonathan Heraux and Eli Clemens these long- time band mates and friends are masters of percussion. Be ready to dance and vibe.
The bar is open with Awa -Kava, Cacao and more
