HONOLULU – Mayor Rick Blangiardi has requested that Honolulu Hale be lit in the colors of the rainbow from sundown on Tuesday, Oct. 19 through sunrise on Friday, Oct. 22, to recognize Honolulu Pride Month.
“We support diversity, culture and inclusion and are happy to light Honolulu Hale in honor of Pride Month,” said Mayor Rick Blangiardi. “I am proud of our City for being open and embracing of our friends and neighbors in the LGBTQ community.”
Honolulu Pride Month is celebrated each October to coincide with National Coming Out Day (Oct. 11) and LGBT History Month.
