Each of the parking lots will be closed at their entrance/exit while work is being conducted. If work is completed earlier than scheduled public access will be restored at that time. However, the work schedule is dependent on weather conditions, with weekends used as makeup days if necessary.
The repaving work includes removal of old asphalt and installation of a new layer (cold planning), restriping stall lines, and new concrete curbing at Pililđau.
The $524,770 contract for these repaving projects was awarded to O‘ahu Sealcoating & Paving.
We appreciate the patience and understanding of park users and the surrounding neighborhoods as these parking lots are closed for renovation.
