• Request For Information For Surfboard Storage Options In Waikiki

Kūhiō Beach in Waikīkī

HONOLULU – The City and County of Honolulu (City) has launched a Request for Information (RFI) link to gather input on surfboard storage options at Kūhiō Beach in Waikīkī. The City intends to collect, review and evaluate submissions to determine possible options for surfboard storage and locations after the surfboard lockers were burnt and damaged by an arsonist in October 2021, for the second time. 
Respondents are encouraged to propose solutions which take into account land use, development regulations and management plan requirements and urged to submit ideas which are fiscally responsible and beneficial to the City.

Any information provided to the City external to this RFI process will not be included in the City’s evaluation.
