Traffic Advisory: Rehabilitation of Streets Unit 89A, Kapi‘olani Boulevard

HONOLULU – The public is advised that road work along Kapi‘olani Boulevard (between Harding Ave. and Atkinson Dr.) will start the week of October 2, 2023, and is expected to be completed by August 2024.

This project includes reconstruction of asphalt roads, concrete curbs and gutters, tree pruning, vehicle sensor loops, and pavement striping.

Normal work hours will run from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The project may also include night work from 7:30 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. Sunday through Friday. Street parking on Kapi‘olani Blvd will be partially utilized for construction during this time frame. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to observe all construction signs and use caution while in the area.
