Downtown Art Center Presents Sunset Arts Market at Fort Street Mall, Spotlighting Local Art, Live Music, Fashion, and Food, Friday September 20, 2024
 
Honolulu (August 2024) –  Save the date for an exciting upcoming community arts event:
Sunset Arts Market at Fort Street Mall is a free, public evening arts market produced by Downtown Art Center, and focused on activating the historic Fort Street Mall at Pauahi Street with a spotlight on local art, live music, fashion, and food. 

When: Friday, September 20, 2024 from 4-7 p.m.
Where: On Fort Street Mall at Pauahi Street (between Scarlet and Doner Shack)
What: Sunset Arts Market at Fort Street Mall: An evening event with a spotlight on local art, live music, fashion, and food.

Don’t miss live painting by incredibly talented  up-and-coming local oil painter
Eduardo Joaquin and other local artists, live music by local rock and blues band Stinkeye, and a fashion show by professional dance instructor, art model, and costume designer Oksana Sunrise.

This event is organized by the team that brings you the annual
HEART of Honolulu Street Festival on Nuʻuanu Avenue. HEART is an acronym that stands for Heritage, Entertainment, Arts & Culture, Restaurants, and Theatre & Performing Arts. Together these elements make up the core of the vibrant creative community that exists in the Bethel and Nuʻuanu Avenue districts, between King Street and Beretania Avenue.

About Downtown Art Center (DAC):
Located in the Chinatown Gateway Plaza building at 1041 Nuʻuanu Ave., Second Floor, the nonprofit Downtown Art Center is an exhibition gallery and educational space for Oʻahu's arts scene.
