Art, dance, theater; have been passions of mine. As early as 4 years old, I can remember drawing and being interested in art. Both my parents were artists. I was very active in theater and art throughout grade school, and I earned a scholarship in recognition of the artwork and theater set-designs I created through my junior and senior years in high school.

For the past 12 years, besides working full time as a schoolteacher, and then in the insurance and healthcare industry, my focus has been studying and enjoying dance, and working on home improvement projects. Now it is time to focus again on my art. I work with a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, and watercolor; and have exhibited as an award winner with the Hawaii Watercolor Society.

As dance is one of my passionsÉ especially the Argentine Tango, my contribution for this March 2007 First Friday Gallery Walk is "Tango ART Fusion"É an expression of fine art displayed with Tango music and live Tango dancers. I am truly excited to be participating once again in the "First Friday Gallery Walk", and showing my work at the studio, "Da Space", 1192 Smith Street.
