Description/Comments:
Photographic artwork and creative portraits
I was Born and Raised in Tampa, Florida and moved to Hawaii in 2001 with the idea of finding a place that my spirit fit with. I had sold everything I had, left everything I have ever known, to move to a place that I knew nothing about. The minute I stepped off the plane, during what seemed to be monsoon season, I felt it instantly...his was home!
I have been taking pictures since the age of three and got my first professional camera from my hanai brother at the age of 12. Until recently it was always just a hobby until one day I met this woman at the print shop who worked at Iolani Palace. She bought my first piece before I could even finish mounting it. That one simple meeting changed my ideas of a hobby into a profession...and so it began.
One never realizes how much a momentary interaction can change the course of another person's life.
My pictures are inspired by each moment. For me, creative ideas come from everywhere especially with the energies here in Hawaii. These wonderful Islands continue to bless me with personal, spiritual, and professional growth. I give full credit to the Aina/lands for this wonder change-of-course in my life.
My long term goal is to open a community center with an art and music studio for the keiki and disabled youth of Hawaii.
